# Channels

Send and receive messages over a single REST API. Live channels have a landing
page with a **Get started** guide and grouped API sections. Planned channels are
listed for roadmap visibility and do not yet expose endpoints.

## Live channels

### SMS — Live

Text messaging (MT and MO) with delivery receipts and message logs.

### MMS — Available by account configuration

Multimedia messaging with media attachments and subjects. MMS support is
available by account configuration, and full MMS API documentation is coming
soon.

## Planned channels

These channels are on the roadmap and are not yet available. No endpoints are
published for them.

Rich Communication Services messaging.

### WhatsApp — Planned

Messaging over the WhatsApp Business platform.

### Messenger — Planned

Messaging over Facebook Messenger.
